Benefits of surfing for children.
Surfing, windsurfing or stand up paddle are very complete sports, they allow you to improve your coordination and balance, at the same time, tone your muscles, increase your cardio respiratory capacity, your concentration and your balance. It increases lung capacity and resistance and requires strength and specific work of large muscle groups (arms, back or buttocks), toning these areas of the body as well as the abdominals, which are used in most maneuvers.
The great beneficiaries of surfing and its modalities are coordination, strength and balance, which makes this sport a very complete practice for children.
During the surf camps we will travel around the island in search of the best conditions for surfing. Normally we go to Son Serra de Marina, Playas de Muro.
There will also be parallel activities such as skateboarding (travel to the skate park), stand up paddle or kayak excursions.
They will learn to surf safely, our monitors will teach them everything necessary for the good practice of surfing, so that they can enjoy from the first day.
We will practice standing up, stretching, warming up and paddling, we will know the currents, exit channels, we will improve the power of the paddling, position on the board and we will carry out a constant feed-back with the student to improve the technique.
We will also practice maneuvers such as: Cut-back, cross step (longboard), flow and basic maneuvers in front side and back side.
During the course there will be video corrections and photo sessions.
Reservations will not be valid until full payment for the course is made. BonaOna reserves the right to admit students below the minimum age.
- Non refundable. Except for 15 days after purchase, as long as the campus does not take place within 30 days from the date of purchase. In the case of post-purchase promotions, any price difference that may exist will not be refunded.
- Non-attendance to the course will not accumulate days nor will refunds be made for individual days.
- In case of cancellation due to medical reasons, date changes may be made or credit accumulated for other school activities, presenting a medical report to the school.
